SI Series Photovoltaic DC Cable Overview
SI series photovoltaic DC cable is mainly used for connecting solar panels and inverters. The use of XLPO/XLPE material for the insulation and phase sheathing makes the cable resistant to sunlight and can also be used in high and low temperature environments. Outdoor laying, it needs to be moisture-proof, sun-proof, cold-resistant, heat-resistant, UV-resistant, and in special environments it needs to be resistant to acid and alkali and other chemicals. Customizable from 1.5-35mm².

Usage Specifications and Precautions
- The DC side of the PV system is divided into positive and negative poles; under normal circumstances, red PV cables are used for the positive pole and black PV cables are used for the negative pole to prevent reverse connection of the inverter end strings.
- The cables will generate heat and loss during loading, and should be operated strictly in accordance with the design drawings to avoid overheating of the cables caused by pulling the cables.The maximum length of 4mm2 PV cables is not more than 120m, 6mm² PV cables is not more than 180m, and the maximum length of 10mm² PV cables is not more than 290m.
- In order to ensure that the PV cables are not damaged by external forces and have good heat dissipation, it is recommended to use professional bridges or metal trunking when laying, and it is not recommended to use PVC pipes and other materials with poor flame retardancy, heat dissipation and low strength when laying in close proximity.
- When the cable is damaged due to external force, it should not be packaged in a simple way with tape or heat-shrinkable sleeve; special connectors can be used or the cable can be replaced directly.
