Project Introduction
Driven by greener goals and smarter cost control, today’s commercial buildings demand higher HVAC efficiency than ever.
The Атр mall is one of the most popular shopping centers among local residents. It features 24-hour supermarkets, cinemas, children's theaters, restaurants, and more. With a total area exceeding 100,000 square meters, indoor comfort is paramount. The mall's original HVAC pumps ran at a fixed speed, relying on valves and bypasses for flow control, which resulted in high energy waste, poor regulation accuracy, high inrush current, and accelerated equipment wear.
To improve energy efficiency, intelligence, and stability, the mall opted for a variable frequency retrofit to its central air-conditioning cooling water pump system.
The Solution:
To tackle these challenges, the GS20 series dedicated pump drives were deployed to drive the circulating pump system with variable frequency control. The system operates on a “Three Duty / One Standby” basis: one master pump, two slaves, and one backup. Master dynamically adjusts its own and the slaves output in response to real-time pipeline feedback.

Auto-balances pump runtime and backup auto-engages if master fails—no downtime. Full protection, soft start, intelligent pump control, and gentle filling for water hammer and grid shock reduction and smooth speed regulation for wear reduction on pumps, motors, and valves, extending service life and cutting maintenance.
Low Noise
Advanced algorithms and random modulation reduce noise by over 5dB.
