Project Introduction

Established in 2007, the Shanghai BY Hotel is a luxury five-star property offering 300 nature-view rooms, each ranging from 40 to 55 square meters, along with amenities including an indoor swimming pool, spa, fitness center, and a range of leisure facilities.

However, increasing occupancy and higher guest expectations exposed limitations in the original water supply system, which could not maintain consistent flow rates during peak morning and evening hours, leading to unstable water pressure.

The Solution:

To address this and support future growth, the hotel upgraded to two 11kW variable frequency pump units controlled by Veichi GS20 Series dedicated inverters. The system’s built-in constant pressure algorithm ensures stable water output by continuously adapting to pipeline demand. During periods of low usage, the pumps alternate operation to balance wear and extend lifespan. While when demand exceeds the capacity of a single pump, both units are activated automatically. Additionally, the smart sleep mode pre-pressurizes the pipeline before entering standby, which minimizes frequent starts and stops while further enhancing energy efficiency.
