Project Introduction
In April 2025, the SI3VP6-84-110-1100 solar well water pump system was successfully installed for agricultural irrigation in Libya.
The Challenge:
The issue of energy and water sources is a critical challenge confronting numerous countries. A significant portion, over 30%, of agricultural pumps are unable to connect to the power grid due to inadequate electrical infrastructure. Additionally, 50% of farms suffer from insufficient irrigation as a result of subpar water conservancy facilities. In the current context, the price of diesel is soaring, which in turn drives up the maintenance costs of diesel generator pump systems. Therefore, it is both urgent and essential to identify a sustainable solution for agricultural irrigation.
The Solution:
Solar powered water pump technology is a very good solution to agricultural irrigation. The system consists of 3 inch 1.5 horsepower solar water pump and provides max flow 6 cu.m./hr water for irrigation.

The Result:
This project utilizes solar pumps that are characterized by their 3-inch size and 1.5 horsepower, which is equivalent to 1100 watts. These pumps operate at 110 volts and are designed to deliver a water volume of up to 6 cubic meters per hour. They are engineered to work efficiently with a water pump head of 84 meters.
