Crop type
Different crops have different requirements for irrigation water volume and irrigation intensity. Shallow-rooted crops such as vegetables are suitable for sprinklers with low irrigation intensity; while taller crops such as corn can be selected for sprinklers with longer range and slightly higher irrigation intensity.
Sprinkler performance
Includes sprinkler head range, flow rate and degree of atomization. The range should be able to cover the irrigated area; the flow rate should match the water supply capacity of the water source; and the degree of atomization should be appropriate to avoid damaging the crop.

Pointer-type sprinkler (Center pivot irrigation system):also known center pivot sprinkler, it is a large-scale sprinkler with a sprinkler head supported on a support that can automatically walk around the center of the water supply system while rotating and sprinkler irrigation.
It consists of a central tower, a span unit, a drive unit, a spraying unit, a cantilever, a tail gun and an electronically controlled synchronization system.
