VC5 series EtherCAT bus high performance PLC overview
VC5 series PLC is a new generation of bus high-performance PLC developed by VEICHI. Using dual-core architecture technology, it has powerful motion control capabilities, the fastest communication cycle is 250μs, and the synchronization time accuracy is ±80ns. EtherCAT bus motion control of up to 32 real axes can be realized. It can meet the requirements of belt shaft capacity and strict cost control requirements, reducing the pressure on manufacturing.

Support 32-axis EtherCAT bus motion control
Advanced industrial Ethernet support, distributed operation of master and slave stations, convenient installation and shortened information transmission cycle. The communication speed is fast, the synchronization time is short, and the operation control modes such as straight line, arc and cam are supported.
Support CanOpen protocol
Supports CanOpen master, slave and CAN free protocol (301/402 protocol).
Realize multi-level network communication
VC5 supports EtherCAT, Ethernet (Modbus-TCP, TCP/IP), CANopen, RS485 (Modbus, free protocol), RS232, Type-C. Support the N:N protocol independently developed by VEICHI. Multi-level network communication can be realized. In the occasions where there is information interaction with servo, vision, robot, code scanning gun, MES, etc., it brings all-around efficiency improvement for manufacturing.

Support single-phase, dual-phase (Up/Down), AB-phase counting. It supports 4 multiplier counting, a high-speed counter supports 8 channels for single-phase, the highest frequency is 200kHz, and dual-phase supports 4 channels, and the highest frequency is 200kHz.
Provides 8 high-speed pulse outputs with an output frequency of 200kHz. Supports positioning control instruction group, which is convenient for users to implement motion control applications.
The CPU module provides 1 RS232 and 1 RS485 serial communication port, named COM0 and COM1 respectively, and the maximum communication bit rate is 115.2k. COM0 port can be used as a programming port and also supports Modbus RTU slave protocol. COM1 supports Modbus RTU master/slave protocol, accessible communication, N:N protocol, built-in terminal resistance, and can be dialed.
